Please be aware that late cancellations or lessons canceled due to no-shows or lack of permit/license result in a loss of income for our instructors and our driving school. Therefore, we appreciate your adherence to our policies in this regard.
Refund Policy: No refunds.
Lessons Cancellation: We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for canceling a driving lesson without incurring a penalty. Please be aware that driving lessons are conducted rain or shine. In the event of a cancellation with less than 48 hours’ notice, including due to inclement weather, a $30 charge will apply for rescheduling. No exceptions will be made.
Lateness Policy: Our instructors will wait for up to 15 minutes after the scheduled start time of the lesson. If you arrive late, the lesson will still conclude at the scheduled end time. Failure to arrive within the allotted 15 minutes will result in a no-show status. No exceptions will be made.
No-Show Policy: Failure to attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice will result in a $30 charge for rescheduling, or forfeiture of the lesson altogether. No exceptions will be made.
Package Payment Policy: All package payments must be made in full prior to scheduling any sessions. You can conveniently register, pay, and schedule online, or if you prefer, contact our office at (949) 326-7615 during office hours to complete your registration and payment over the phone.
Service Validity & Expiration: Any service purchased directly through our business or through third-party platforms, including but not limited to Yelp and Groupon, must be redeemed within one (1) year from the date of purchase. Services not used within this timeframe will expire and have no cash value. No refunds, credits, or extensions will be provided after expiration.
Prices: Our prices are effective at the time of purchase and are subject to change without prior notice. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Permit/License Requirements: It is imperative that you possess a valid California Minor’s (Learner’s) Permit, Driver’s License, or International License at the time of the lesson. Failure to provide the required documentation will result in a $30 charge for rescheduling. No exceptions will be made.
Certificate of Completion: Upon completion of 6 hours of behind-the-wheel driving instruction, Road Ahead Driving Academy will issue a Certificate of Completion, also known as the Golden Ticket. This certificate is required by teenagers aged 15½ – 17½ when taking the road test at the DMV. In the event
that the certificate is lost and requires replacement, a $30 fee will apply. If purchased through Groupon or Yelp a $45.00 certificate fee will apply.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the short code. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
